Winchester

This consignment sale is for a Winchester Model 94, chambered in the popular and effective 30-30 Win.  Serial number of this rifle is 4849598, which would date it as part of the 1980 production.  A Bushness scope is already mounted on the rifle so you'll be ready to take this on the hunt as soon as you get it home.

This model has the 20" round barrel, adjustable rear sight and hooded front sight.  The hammer can be placed in the quarter cock position for safety.  Rounds are fed via the 7 round tube magazine while loading is done through the side gate in the receiver.

The action on the rifle is smooth and the trigger is firm and consistent.

The metal is in Excellent condition and only shows sign of light use.  The barrel is bright and the bore is clean.

The wood would described as Very Good condition (and it does look nice) except for two issues on the buttstock.  There is a slight 2.5" crack that we found at the rear of the buttstock, about 1.25" from the bottom side of the stock.  There is another slight defect at the top of the stock on the right hand side.  We mention that one to make sure that we are complete in our description. 

A Bushnell Sportview 3-9 x 32 scope is attached to the rifle via a side mount.  The scope is in Very Good condition with clear glass and reticle.  Elevation and windage adjustment dials are covered by removable caps on the top and side. 

Overall, this is a Good condition rifle that's already equipped and ready to go on your next hunt.
