The Model 1873 is widely credited as being “The Gun that Won the West.” This classic model was chambered in the popular handgun calibers of the day and it’s been produced in carbine, rifle and musket models. The most notable enhancement is the action that has been tuned for speed – as is the Winchester way. Specifically, the action has been performance-tuned and modified with a shorter, smoother lever stroke to make cycling faster when you're competing against the clock.

Even with the performance-focused extras, never forget that this is a genuine Winchester Repeating Arms Model '73 with an oil-finished walnut stock, color case hardened carbine strap buttplate and a 20" round barrel with a full-length magazine, just like the original. Receiver rear tang is drilled and tapped for optional peep sight (sight not included).
