Some folks just prefer simplicity when choosing a concealed carry handgun.  It doesn’t get much simpler than a .38 Spl. revolver.  This Taurus Model 85 SS (SS for Stainless Steel) was the carry handgun of choice for our customer’s wife for a number of years.  It carries serial number LG91681 and it still looks fantastic.

Rated for +P ammo and having a 5 shot cylinder with a 2 inch barrel, it’s a nice carry choice for male or female.  Not too heavy, it’s pleasant to shoot and has enough power to stop the threat that you’re facing.

Black rubber grips with finger grooves are installed on the revolver now but the original checkered walnut grips are included.  Both sets of grips are in Very Good condition.  The action is smooth and the single action trigger pull is light and pleasant.  Double action pull is normal and not overly heavy.  The bore is good and the barrel is bright.  The rifling appears to be strong as well.  The stainless finish is in Very Good condition with just light marks from carrying.

If you’re looking to add an affordable revolver as a carry option, this one has a lot of life left in it.  It looks great and it won’t let you down!
