Springfield Armory

This Springfield Armory XDM is a Law Enforcement trade-in and is chambered in .40S&W.  We've field stripped the pistol but have not fired it.  Function check is correct, spring is strong and the pistol has a smooth trigger.  Serial number is MG242458.  All serial numbers match.  See below regarding the lifetime guarantee.  Don't chance it on other used pistols that aren't backed by this excellent added protection.

3 dot Trijicon night sights are installed but are very dim.  We’d estimate them to be less than 50% in terms of original brightness. 

Most of our Law Enforcement trade-ins come to us in pretty good condition and this one is no exception.  The bore is very clean and bright, the barrel is exceptionally bright and shiny and the rifling is crisp and strong.  In fact, the bore, barrel and rifling rate Near Mint.  The slide does show holster wear as you’d expect from a duty pistol and the grip safety shows some wear as well.  The frame and grips, however, are in Excellent condition.    Based on the condition of the pistol and our experience in seeing these LE trade-ins, this one was likely carried on duty but shows very little evidence of use.   

This pistol has a 4.5 inch match grade barrel, grip safety, picatinny accessory rail, striker status indicator, loaded chamber indicator and ambi magazine release.

Overall, we’d grade this pistol as Very Good.  There may be a few cosmetic blemishes as indicated with the holster wear but, mechanically, this pistol looks great.  At this price and in this condition, it’s definitely worth a good look.  As with all used firearms, please review all of the photos carefully so that you are thoroughly familiar with the condition of the pistol.
