This is a consignment pistol and, like all of our consignments, we have not fired the weapon.  However, all function checks are correct and we find no issues with the gun.  As with all used guns, you should carefully review the pictures so that you are comfortable with the condition as described.

The Model 22A-1 came in several configurations in terms of finish and barrel length.  This is the 5-1/2” barrel with a blued finish.  It's chambered in 22LR and has a magazine capacity of 10+1.  The rear sight is adjustable and the front sight is a standard, fixed sight.  The pistol has an aluminum alloy frame, a stainless steel trigger guard, a manual thumb safety and the blued finish is bright.  It has Soft Touch grips that are in pristine condition.  The trigger is very light, very smooth and just . . . very nice.  The barrel is very bright, the bore is good and the rifling is good.  The are a few very small minor spots of finish loss on the slide and frame.  There is finish loss at the end of the muzzle but no nicks or damage, only the finish loss.  Overall, we’d rate this pistol as pretty close to excellent.  It’s a very nice offering and has a lot of accurate life in it.

These pistols had a reputation as tack drivers and the condition of this pistol should help you live up to that reputation.  This should be a beautiful gun in both looks and performance.

This pistol comes with its original hard case, (1) 10 round Smith & Wesson magazines and a protective sock for your new purchase.
