This Smith & Wesson M&P40 pistol is a Law Enforcement trade-in and is chambered in 40S&W.  We've field stripped and cleaned the pistol but have not fired it.  Function check is correct, spring feels very strong and the pistol has a firm trigger.  See below regarding the lifetime guarantee.  Don't chance it on other used pistols that aren't backed by this excellent added protection.

3 dot night sights are installed and are dim but about 50% brightness.  This would seem to be consistent with the 2010 manufacture date. 

Most of our Law Enforcement trade-ins come to us in pretty good condition and this one is no exception.  The grips show no noticeable wear.  The frame is in like new condition.  The barrel is very bright and the rifling is very strong.  The bore is clean and bright.  The slide has slight evidence of holster wear.  The barrel lug has minimal finish loss on the top side, which is expected of this model.  Please review all photos to examine the condition for yourself.  We’d rate this pistol in overall very good to excellent condition.
