We have a regular customer that brings us a lot of consignment guns and they're ones that we always look forward to getting. His firearms are immaculately maintained, incredibly well cared-for, usually upgraded and typically only lightly used. This revolver checks all of those boxes.
The model 610 is chambered for 10mm cartridges but, of course, you can also shoot 40 S&W cartridges as well. This 6 shot revolver has a 3.875" barrel and black Smith & Wesson rubber grips. It's a 610-3 so this revolver is also legal for sale in California. The rear sight is adjustable and the original black front ramp sight has been factory replaced by a very nice front sight with a red insert on the ramp.
This was a nice revolver when it left the factory. It's nicer now. The owner sent the revolver back to Smith & Wesson for some very impressive upgrades. In addition to the front sight upgrade mentioned already, Smith completed their Master Revolver Package and included in that are: chamfered charge holdes, trigger stop, polish of rebound spring, hammer stud and yoke barrel bosses, detail of the lockwork surfaces, stone hammer and trigger contact areas. Additionally, the owner had Smith do a High Bright Polish of the revolver. The end result is a firearm that looks, feels and performs amazingly.
This revolver has had approximately 200 rounds fired through it according to the owner. It really looks like less than that. Grips show no wear, the bore is clean and the barrel is bright. The finish is fantastic, the revolver feels sturdy and solid in your hand while still being comfortable to hold, The action and the trigger may be as nice as any Smith & Wesson that we've felt. Trigger is very light and consistent. If you're after a top-notch 10mm revolver that will give you top tier performance, take a good look at this one. It's worth your time and well worth the money.
Purchase includes the revolver, 13 TK Custom moon clips, original case, original front sight and manual.
This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test-fired this revolver. We have performed our function checks and find no issues at all to report. As with all pre-owned firearm purchases, please review the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of the revolver.
