This is a consignment pistol and, like all of our consignments, we have not fired the weapon.  However, all function checks are correct and we find no issues with the gun.  One other note . . . we debated about whether to list this as "new old stock" or "used".  Finally, we went with the used designation but, very candidly, if this one has been fire it has seen very few rounds go down range.  It's truly in pristine condition.

The original Smith SKU on this gun is 107438.  The Model 22A-1 came in several configurations in terms of finish and barrel length.  This is the 7 inch barrel with a shiny stainless finish.  It's chambered in 22LR and has a magazine capacity of 10+1.  The rear sight is adjustable and the front sight is a light-gaterhing hi-viz dot.  The stainless finish is very bright and without scratches.  The frame is like new.  The very comfortable soft touch target grips show no wear.  The barrel appears like new, the feed ramp and bore are both bright and shiny.  The pistol has a manual safety.

These pistols had a reputation as tack drivers and the 7" target length barrel should help you live up to that reputation.  The entire pistol is like new and a beautiful example of this model.  While we do see some of the Model 22A-1s from time to time, we don't ofter see the 7 inch barrel with the stainless finish and we rarely see them in this condition..  This should be a beautiful gun in both looks and performance.

This pistol comes with its original hard case, (3) 10 round Smith & Wesson magazines and the instruction manual.
