Sig Sauer

This Sig Sauer P229R pistol is a Law Enforcement trade-in and is chambered in 9mm.  Our assumption is that it was also maintained by a Law Enforcement Armorer because the pistol is in fantastic condition.  We've field stripped and cleaned the pistol but it came to us in a recently cleaned condition.  We have not fired this one but function check is correct, spring is strong and the trigger is light and crisp.  We believe the manufacture date to be 2007.  We really like these Law Enforcement trade-in guns and our customers have felt the same way.

3 dot night sights are installed, have some glow but are probably less than 50% brightness.  That would seem to be consistent with the date of manufacture.

Frame was manufactured in Germany.  Some finish loss on the locking lug is evident and is normal for this model of pistol.  Bottom of mag well has some finish loss from normal operation.  There is very little wear on the grips and no apparent holster wear.   The barrel is very bright and the rifling is strong.  Minor finish loss on the edge of the rail, likely where a light was mounted.  There are no scrapes or scratches.  There is one very small spot of finish loss on the right side of the trigger guard . . . and we’re really nit-picking to mention that but want our description to be completely accurate.  Overall pistol is in excellent condition with minor, honest wear.
