Sig Sauer

This very nice Sig Sauer P226 came to us as a Law Enforcement trade-in along with some other models as well.  Most of our LE trades come in mechanically sound but with some cosmetic blemishes from being carried on duty.  Cosmetically, this one does show some wear at the edges but is still in very nice condition. 

The pistol is chambered in 40S&W, has a 4.4 inch barrel, is single action/double action, has a 12 round magazine capacity and a decocker on the left side of the frame.  The frame is of German manufacture, which is the more desirable version.  It has an accessory rail underneath the barrel.  Serial number is U693873.  The pistol comes with a Lifetime Guaranteed Replacement policy, more on that later.

Night sights are installed on the pistol but are non-functional due to age.  They do, however, act as standard 3 dot sights.

The pistol came to us with Crimson Trace laser grips installed but they were very worn.  We’ve replaced the grips with a brand new, standard set.  The used laser grips are included in the box.

The bore on the pistol is good, the barrel is bright and the rifling is good.  The frame does show some finish loss at the edges from holster wear but still rates as Very Good condition.  The front strap of the grip has some finish loss and wear due to the wraparound nature of the Crimson Trace grips.  As we mentioned earlier, the grips that are currently installed are brand new, right out of the package.

Overall, this is a very nice example of a very solid pistol and it’s one that’s priced to sell.  Lots of life left in this pistol and it’s one that you’ll enjoy shooting.  Additionally, there’s the fact that you’re purchasing a pre-owned pistol that comes with lifetime guarantee.  Here are the details on that:
