This consignment sale is for a German manufactured Sig Sauer Mosquito that the owner states is unfired and we believe that to be the case as well.
These pistols are chambered in affordable 22LR and have a 10 round magazine capacity. This particular pistol comes with a total of FIVE Sig Sauer magazines. The barrel is 3.98", the pistol is double action/single action and has a decocker mechanism, along with an ambi manual safety.
A picatinny accessory rail underneath the barrel allows attachment of the accessory of your choice. Sights are a bright, easy-to-pick-up 3 dot variety and the rear sight is adjustable.
These Mosquitos were designed based on the Sig Sauer P226 but were 10% smaller in size and (obviously) chambered in 22LR. The slide is an aluminum-zinc alloy and the frame is polymer. The controls are similar to those present on full-size models and include (from front to rear) a left takedown lever, a left decocking lever, reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous manual safety. In addition, the pistol is provided with an integral safety lock located at the rear of the magazine well which when enabled prevents cycling of slide, hammer fall, and trigger action.
As we stated earlier, this appears to be unfired and contains all of the original items present at the time of original purchase. The slide, frame and grips have no scuffs, scrapes, scratches or wear. We'd grade the entire pistol as Like New and a very complete package with plenty of extra magazines.
Purchase includes the pistol, original hard case, manual, (5) 10 round Sig Sauer magazines, additional spring.
This is a consignement sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test-fired the pistol. We have performed all function checks and find no issues. Like all firearm purchase, please review the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of the handgun.
