Introducing the MCX-SPEAR, the civilian version of the U.S. Army’s new XM7 rifle. The MCX-SPEAR by SIG SAUER.
SIG MCX-SPEAR FEATURES:
If you're new to the world of National Firearms Act (NFA)/Class III items, welcome to the amazing world of suppressors, short barrel rifles and short barrel shotguns. These items are an incredible amount of fun and introduce you to amazing new experiences. However, NFA/Class III items do fall under a different set of regulations than "normal" firearms. Please make sure that you read and understand the below points. We want this to be a fantastic experience for you and want to do our best to minimize any surprises if you haven't purchased these types of items before.
The local FFL that you select to receive your Short Barrel Rifle (SBR) needs to have a Special Occupational Tax (SOT) license in addition to their FFL. Please be certain to verify that the dealer you select has their SOT and is willing to accept transfers of NFA items.
State, and sometimes local, regulations on NFA items vary widely from state to state. Unless you're certain that Short Barrel Rifles are legal where you live, we suggest letting your local dealer know which item that you intend to purchase and verifying that the SBR is legal to own in your area.
We will need to receive your local dealer's FFL and their SOT before we can start the transfer process. Once we receive those items, will will submit the required paperwork to the ATF so that we can ship your rifle. ATF approval must be received before we can ship. This is not a lengthy process but it also doesn't happen overnight. Once that approval is received, we will securely package your new rifle and ship it, fully insured, to your local shop.
If your purchase is canceled for any reason, refunds are subject to a 12% cancelation/restocking fee. That's not a small amount on a purchase of this size but it does reflect real costs that we incur. Please be certain that this item is legal in your area before making your purchase.
If you're still reading, thanks for taking the time to read this so thoroughly. We don't want to scare anyone away from purchasing NFA items. There's no reason to shy away from them at all. We just want to make sure that our customers have a good understanding of the process with no unpleasant surprises!
