The Sexto P is the pistol-optimized model of the versatile Sexto family of suppressors from Shadow Silencers.

The Sexto Family of 9mm silencers by Shadow Silencers are designed to offer the most versatile, rugged, and optioned product in its class. They allow users to chose from Pistol optimized, PCC only and multi-caliber depending on the model. Users can disassemble the complete baffle system to tune the sound and airflow to the users liking, ammo choice and firearm, not to mention ease of cleaning.

Consisting of six Baffles of 7075 Billet Aluminum, combined with our unique blast chamber design the SextoP is rugged, tunable, versatile and quiet.  In addition to these new features, all of our silencers run up to 35% cooler than competitor products.

The Sexto P is designed for direct attachment to barrels with a thread pitch of 1/2 x 28.  The internal piston is compatible with 9mm moving barrel pistols of the Browning/Glock/1911/Sig, etc. families.  The Sexto P includes a unique piston design that fits perfectly into the silencer.  It operates smoothly, has positive locking lugs and virtually eliminates carbon lock in the mechanism.  Because of the manner in which the piston works, the Sexto P should not be used on fixed barrel pistols or pistol caliber carbines.  For use on 9mm pistol caliber carbines, the Sexto 9 is the perfect choice.  If you have any questions regarding which Sexto model is right for you, our staff is happy to help find the perfect option!

The Sexto P is also finished with a black Milspec 3 finish.  Not familiar with Milspec 3?  Here's the textbook definition:  Type 3 aluminum anodizing, also called hard coat anodizing or hard anodizing, is used to increase the wear and corrosion resistance, increase the surface hardness, and improve the thermal and dialectical properties of treated aluminum objects. The ability to retain lubricants, also improves with Type 3 anodizing.  If you're like me, you may appreciate the simplified definition:  Milspec 3 is hard.  Really hard.  Like ruby hard and the resistance to corrosion is exactly what you want in a suppressor.
