This may be one of the most beautiful examples of an older Blackhawk that we've seen.  It is, obviously, not possible to guarantee that this revolver is unfired but we did not find any evidence of use.  Even the original plastic safety ring in on the cylinder and, while that by itself is not a guarantee of non-use, it is indicative of the fact that this revolver has been resting in its original box for years.

This New Model Blackhawk is chambered in 41 Mag, has a 6 shot fluted cylinder, a 4-5/8" barrel and is single action only.  The Serial Number of 41-12591, we believe, indicates original production in 1977.  The Ruger model number is BN 41.  The New Model Blackhawks have a transfer bar safety.  The front sight is a fixed, ramp sight.  The rear sight is adjustable.  The walnut grips have the Ruger medallion embedded in the grips.

The wood grips are in mint condition and the blued finish is like new as well.  The cylinder has minimal rotation marks, and those should be expected whether the gun has been used or not.  Overall, this gun is likely in as close to new condition as it can be.  We would definitely grade the gun as near mint or like new.  It's absolutely gorgeous and a truly stunning revolver!

Included with the revolver is the original, red Ruger box, the owner's manual, the original warranty card and the original price tag from the 70's.

This is a consignment revolver and, like all of our consignment offerings, we have not test fired the gun.  We have performed all function checks and find no issues to report.  Like all older firearms, you should completely review all of the photos so that you are completely comfortable with the condition of the revolver.
