Ruger

This consignment rifle is one that you don't see every day.  In fact, it's pretty hard to find this model and especially one that is in as good of condition as this one.  There have been a few different production runs of the International 10/22.  Ruger first produced them from 1966 - 1969 with a walnut stock.  They then came back with a production run that lasted from 1994 - 2006 and those models went out with a birch stock.  Currently, you can find TALO conversions of the 10/22 that are labeled as International models.  This particular rifle is from the original (or old production) run.  We believe that this model likely came out of the factory in 1969.  Serial number is 110-10443.

The barrel is 18.5 inches and has a folding rear sight and a gold bead front sight.  The receiver is drilled and tapped.  The stock is a Mannlicher style walnut full stock with front and rear sling swivels.

The wood is in excellent condition, as shown in the photos, and has only slight handling marks with no major scratches.  The Ruger buttplate is in excellent condition as well.  The blued finish of the barrel and receiver rates as very good to excellent.  There is a small area of finish loss on the very underneath side at the muzzle.  The top of the receiver shows indication of a scope mount at some point with slight lines apparent from the scope base.  The barrel is bright and the bore is clean.

Overall, we'd rate the rifle as excellent condition and think that you'll agree after you've looked at the photos.  As you look for other versions of this model for sale, you won't find many.  Most of what we see is either from the 94-06 run or the current TALO editions.  The old production run just isn't seen frequently at all.  If you're a fan of vintage, great condition, hard to find rifles, you may want to add this one to your collection.
