Remington

This consignment sale if for a Remington 511A Scoremaster.  These were bolt action rimfire rifles that were fed from a 6 shot box magazine.  Ours does not have a magazine with it.  The rifle is chambered for 22 Short, Long or Long Rifle.  The barrel is 25 inches.  This rifle is pre-1968 and has no serial number.

The rear sight is adjustable, while the front sight is fixed.  A manual safety is located on the right side, at the rear of the bolt.

The bolt handle has some looseness/play in it.  The bolt itself operates without issue.  The wood rates as Fair.  It is solid and has no cracks but does have nicks, some discoloration and dents.  The photos will show the condition.  The Remington buttpad is intact and in Fair condition as well.  The metal has some finish loss, light pitting and various areas of rust.  Again, the photos are a good representation of condition.

Overall, this is a Fair condition firearm that it likely best suited for someone that wants to work on stock refinishing and metal restoration.  It is priced accordingly.
