This is another fantastic example of a vintage shotgun from the large collection that we've had on consignment from one of our customers. The Remington 1100 semi-automatic shotgun has been produced in various models since 1963 and there's a reason that it's lasted that long. It just plain works. It's a reliable semi-automatic shotgun that you can configure for your needs at a price that's easy to handle. This particular 1100 is a 12 Gauge Magnum, chambered for 3" shells and comes with a 30" vent rib full choke barrel with a front bead sight. Barrel code is KI. The barrel is not threaded for additional chokes. Serial number on the receiver of the shotgun is M423359M.
The wood is checkered with a pistol grip stock. All wood is near mint and the checkering is clear and defined. The Remington buttpad is in Excellent condition. The receiver and bolt are scroll engraved and very attractive. The trigger is clean and consistent. The barrel is very bright and does not show evidence of much use. The bore is clean. All metal is Near Mint with no scratches or scrapes.
Overall, we'd grade this shotgun as Excellent to Near Mint. It's a very attractive 1100 in amazing condition. If you're looking for a dependable, proven semi-auto 12 Gauge, give this one a good look. You won't be disappointed!
