Norinco

This consignment rifle is a Norinco manufactured, CSI imported Type 56 SKS carbine.  Serial number is 22009399.  We've always liked the SKS as an alternative to the AK-47.  They're just a very fun rifle to shoot.

Chambered in 7.62 x 39, this SKS has a 20.4" barrel.  The rear sight is the 1000 meter adustable sight and the front is the standard, hooded sight.  Both sights are in Excellent condition.  We have not checked all of the parts but the receiver, bolt and trigger guard all have matching serial numbers.

The wooden stock has been replaced with a very comfortable synthetic version.  We believe that this is the Adv Tech Fiberforce stock.  It has an adjustable cheek rest and ventilated forearm.  This particular stock requires removal of the bayonet in order to fit the rifle and you'll see that a bayonet is not attached on this model.

The barrel on this one is bright and the rifling looks very good.  The bore is clean.  The bolt cycles smoothly and freely.  Trigger pull is firm but consistent.

Overall, we think that this SKS is in Very Good condition and that this old workhorse will put a lot of rounds downrange for you.  Best of all, you'll have a bunch of fun while you're doing it.

Purchase includes the rifle and padded hard case.  No magazine.
