Mossberg

The owner of this consignment gun tells us that this shotgun has not been used and we think that's probably accurate based on our examination.  While we can't guarantee that it's unfired, the owner is a long time customer and we've seen nothing but quality firearms represented by him.

This Mossberg 500 Cruiser is a 12 Gauge model that accepts either 2-3/4" or 3" shells.  The barrel is 18.5" long and the magazine holds six 2-3/4" shells.

A ported, stand-off door breacher is at the end of the muzzle and we love the way that those look in addition to the practical application of them.  A white, dot sight rests atop the barrel.  The action is worked via the ribbed forearm that includes an attached Mossberg nylon strap.

A comfortable, black polymer pistol grip controls the rear end of the shotgun.  An ambi tang safety is at the top, rear of the receiver.  A sling swivel stud is located on the left, rear portion of the receiver.  Finish is a black matte.  The barrel is bright, as is the bore.  While the gun is likely new, it does have various nicks in the finish from storage in the safe.  That's normal for this model and we would expect to see them.  Please see the photos for more clarity.

Overall, this is a nice version of the very popular Cruiser line of shotguns from Mossberg.  Besides just being plain fun, they're a very strong choice for home defense as well.
