This Mossberg 500AG may not have started life as a 500 Cruiser, but that's exactly what it is now . . . and it's looks very nice.

This a consignment offering so we don't know the full history of the shotgun.  The owner inherited this from his father's estate so he can't provide a lot of details beyond what we have.  Like all of our consignment guns, we have not test-fired this shotgun.  However, we have function checked the gun ad find no issues.  As with all used guns, please inspect the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of your purchase.

Although we think that most folks already know this, we'd like to address the legality of the gun.  This shotgun is perfectly legal to purchase and own due to the 18.5" length of the barrel.  The fact that it has a pistol grip instead of a traditional stock does nothing to change the legal status of the gun.  It does, however, change the level of fun by increasing it dramatically!

This shotgun likely left the factory with a full stock and a much longer barrel.  The barrel was replaced, not cut, and this is a standard, home defense length barrel.  The stock was removed and a synthectic pistol grip was added.  Presto . . . it's now a 500 cruiser.

A bead front sight sits atop the replacement barrel.  The manual safety sets in the normal location for the Mossberg 500, which is on the top of the receiver, just forward of the pistol grip.  The synthetic pistol grip is in excellent condition.  The trigger is smooth.  Pump action is smooth due to the twin action bars on the gun.  A checkered wood forearm is in very good condtion and only shows normal use.  The receiver retains almost all of its finish with no major flaws.  There is (1) one inch thin rub mark on the top of the receiver.  The barrel and magazine tube show some wear and finish loss with one small area of surface oxidation.  Overall they are in good condtion.

We admit that this is not the normal configuration that you'd see in a 500 Cruiser but it should be a great gun and is offered at less than the price of other 500 Cruisers.

Determined at checkout.
