If you're after a long range tack driver, this consignment rifle may be exactly the right option for you.  This Mossberg Patriot Night Train 2 is chambered in .308 Win and comes decked out for well-stabilized, mild recoil, accurate, on-target shots.

The rifle itself features a 22 inch fluted, suppressor-ready matte blue barrel.  Sitting at the end of that barrel is a removable SilencerCo Saker Trifecta Muzzle Brake.  The barrel is bright, the bore is clean and the rifling is deep and strong.  Stabilizing the rifle is a Caldwell folding bipod.  Extend it when you want to take a long, stabilized shot or fold the legs forward when not needed.

The action is worked by a spiral fluted bolt with smooth movement.  Rounds are picked up by the bolt from a detachable 5 round box magazine.  The rifle has a tactical bolt handle.  The trigger is an LBA adjustable trigger that's already set with a very light and smooth feel.

All of this sits in an OD green composite stock that also has a neoprene comb adjusting kit.  The stock, the barrel and the entire finish of the rifle is like new.  We're sure that a previous owner sent a few rounds downrange but they must have been a limited number and the rifle was carefully handled.  We rate the entire setup as Like New.  A really nice combination of items.  A lot to like here and nothing to detract from the rifle or the attached accessories.

Mounted atop the Picatinny rail is a UTG 6-24x50 scope that gives you a lot of extra range with the weapon.  The scope has flip open caps at each end and is adjustable for distances from 10 yards to infinity.  The reticle features mil dots and the glass is clear.  This will definitely let you reach out and touch something at long distances.
