Marlin

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not fired the rifle.  All function checks, however, are correct.

This is a really interesting rifle that came our way and one that we haven't seen much of.  The owner states that the rifle is unfired and, based on our inspection, we believe that to be true as well.  The original Marlin tag still hangs from the front sling swivel stud, the bore shows no carbon, nor does the bolt or the magazine.

We usually see these XT-22 models in .22LR and, quite often, with a wood stock.  This is the .22Mag version and, based on all of the features would be, specifically, a XT-22MVSR.  It has a 22" stainless heavy varmit barrel with micro-groove rifling.  It is drilled and tapped for scope bases and the receiver is grooved for scope mounts.  It has a black synthetic stock with pistol grip and stippled grip areas on the stock.  Studs for sling swivels are molded into the stock.  It has a thumb safety, a red cocking indicator and weighs 6 pounds.  The trigger is light and smooth.  Please view all of the provided photos so that you are familiar with the appearance of the rifle.  There are light storage marks on the very edge of the butt pad.

The owner has provided a lot of extras with the rifle.  It will come with a soft case, the original 4 round magazine, 4 additional 7 round Marline magazines that are still in the original packaging and 1 more 7 round magazine that is not in original packaging.

This rifle looks exactly the way that it left the original store and comes with everything except the original box and instruction manual.  You'll find other XT-22s available but we don't think you'll often find one in this configuration and pristine condition.
