For  a 1911-style concealed carry pistol, some folks want the concealability of a 3 inch barrel.  The challenge with that setup is that the grip frequently is too short to hold comfortably and firmly in your hand.  Kimber solves that problem with the Ultra+ which gives you a full size grip on a pistol with a 3 inch barrel.  It’s a great configuration and delivers a pistol that can be properly gripped and accurately fired.

This Ultra+ CDP II wearing serial number KU202347, comes to us as a very lightly used consignment sale.  This pistol has received the Kimber Carry-Melt treatment which smooths and blends the sharp edges of the slide.  It has a 3 inch barrel with night sights.  The night sights are functional but are not full brightness.

The ambi thumb safety is easily reached and operated by both right and left handed shooters.  The grip safety adds an additional safety layer.  Grips are an attractive Double Diamond Rosewood.  30 LPI checkering helps maintain a solid grip.  The trigger is a skeletonized match trigger and the barrel has a match chamber.

The grips, frame and slide are in Excellent condition.  The bore is clean and the barrel is bright.  The rifling appears to be strong.  In our opinion, the pistol has seen light use and has been well cared for.  If you’ve looked at new versions of this pistol, you already know that it’s not an inexpensive handgun.  The owner has this one priced to sell and we think it’s quite a bargain.

Purchase is for the pistol and (1) 7 round Kimber magazine.  No other accessories are included.
