This is an older, classic, single shot shotgun that we have on consignment. Like most of our consigment items, we have not fired this gun.
We think that this Champion model Iver Johnson 12 gauge is probably aged circa 1949. It has aged well and the finish has turned to a very interesting patina. Some very light surface oxidation on the bottom of the gun appears to be normal for the age of this shotgun.
Single shot that locks up tight. Barrel is shiny with minor fouling. This one has a 32" barrel.
Wood is in good shape with some honest handling marks but no cracks or deep gouges that we see. Overall, we'd rate the furniture in very good condition.
The owner will even throw in a couple of boxes of shells - see pictures. Also has a soft case to protect your new gun.
