HM Defense

The HM Defense Raider MC556 pistol is a whole bunch of fun in a legal, pistol configuration with a stabilizing brace . . . no tax stamp required.  It's available in both 9.5 and 12.5 inch barrel configurations and handles 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammo.  The match grade barrel has a 1:8 twist.  The M-LOK hadguard allows easy access for your favorite accessories. 

The most impressive features are the Monobloc barrel and HMB bolt.  The 9.5 inch Monobloc barrel contains a gas block that is integrally machined as part of the barrel.  This eliminates the need for the alignment of the gas block, in addition to meaning that it can never come loose or be misalinged.  The result?  Greater accuracy.  The HMB bolt eliminates the passthrough cam pin hole and replaces it with a cam pin socket and tapered cam pin design.  This emlinates the natural weak point of milspec bolts by significantly increasing the amount of metal at the cam pin location.
