This is, in our opinion, the best built suppressed rifle on the market.  It’s also, by far, our most popular rifle among the law enforcement agencies that we serve.  A great quality rifle, an incredibly effective suppressor, a price point that’s typically less than purchasing a short barreled rifle and suppressor separately.  We’ve seen many departments and agencies moving to suppressed platforms and this rifle is the perfect fit for that application.

If you’re not familiar with the HM Defense brand, it’s likely because very little of their production is for the U.S. commercial market.  The bulk of HM Defense rifles go to U.S. and allied military clients and, of course, our valued law enforcement partners.  We think that the build quality of these rifles is equal to or better than some of the more well-known commercial brands that cost almost twice as much.  It’s not just our opinion, either.  Our customers that have purchased these have come back to us as raving fans of HM Defense as well. 

In the Stealth model, the barrel, gas block and suppressor are all machined out of one solid piece of metal.  This patented monobloc barrel eliminates any possible alignment error that can happen with a standard gas block installation and also eliminates any harmonic vibration from a loose gas block.  There are many more advantages to this forward-thinking design and we’d be happy to discuss those in detail with you.  The 9 inch, match grade, button rifled barrel with a 1:7 twist leads to a 7.25 inch integral suppressor.  The 16.25 inch overall length keeps this at roughly the same length (or a bit shorter) as your standard patrol rifles.

The bolt:  If there’s a weak point in the AR design, it’s in the bolt.  Typical AR bolts have the cam pin hole going all the way through the bolt.  That leaves just the two side walls of the bolt to absorb the recoil and twisting stress of normal firing.  The HMB bolt shortens the cam pin, eliminating the need to bore all the way through the bolt.  That gives you strength on three sides, eliminates friction on the firing pin and results in smoother operation, in addition to a bolt that will last significantly longer.

The patented Monobloc barrel and suppressor body is machined from one piece of steel. Thereby eliminating the tolerance stacking found on coventional thread-on muzzle adaptors and suppressors (they can and do come loose resulting in catastrophic failures). No more suppressor adaptors, suppressor installations and tuning. Eliminates baffle strikes and their liabilities.  This allows the weapon system to fit into your safety plan and make the decision maker's job easier when they know the benefits of this system.

Overall, we think that this is pretty close to the perfect setup for a suppressed rifle.  While the Stealth is available in both 5.56 NATO and 300 Blackout, the 5.56 version tends to be more popular with departments based on the cost of ammunition.
