We have this Henry rifle with us on consignment. The owner says that he purchased the rifle about 2 years ago and put a grand total of 7 rounds through it. As he looks to pare down his collection, this little-used rifle is available at a great price.
This one has a 22 inch octagonal barrel and the tube magazine holds 4 rounds of 45-70 with the ability to carry another round in the chamber. The receiver and buttplate are brass and the stock is American walnut. Full specs on the rifle are at the bottom of this post.
The bore is clean, the barrel is bright and the rifling appears to be strong. The receiver does have some scratches from storage on the left side. Please see the attached photos. The buttstock is in Very Good condition with just some light storage marks. The forearm is Very Good with the exception of one ding on the right hand side. Again, please see the attached photos.
This is a very lightly used, nearly new rifle that is absolutely priced to sell. If you love Henry rifles, the classic look of the brass and the power of the 45-70 cartridge, this one is definitely worth the time to check out.
Purchase includes the rifle as shown, protective “sock” to cover the receiver and manual.
