This Glock 17 Gen 5 - Austria pistol is a Law Enforcement trade-in and is chambered in 9mm.  We've performed our function checks but have not fired it.  All function checks are correct and there are no issues to report.  See below regarding the lifetime guarantee.  More details on that are below but having a warranty on a used firearm is pretty uncommon and a great added benefit. 

As with all Glock 17 pistols, the barrel is 4.49 inches and the magazine capacity is 17+1.  Our pistol has serial number BGMD726.  All three serial numbers match.

The night sights are bright and functional.  We’d estimate them at 85% or better of original brightness.  The Ameriglo front sight has the red outline for easy target acquisition.      

Most of our Law Enforcement trade-ins usually come to us in pretty good condition but this one is exceptionally nice.  This one might have been issued but, based on condition, there’s an equally good chance that it wasn’t.  In either case, it has seen very little, if any use on patrol.   

The bore is clean and bright.  The barrel is very bright and the rifling is strong.  The grips are Near Mint, the frame is Like New and the slide is in Near Mint condition also.  There is no finish loss on the top of the barrel lug and that, along with the condition of the entire pistol, leads us to believe that this one has a very low round count.

Overall, we’d grade this pistol as Near Mint.  The Lifetime Guarantee covers you on the mechanical aspects of the pistol but we think this one still looks great as well.  As with all used firearms, please review all of the photos carefully so that you are thoroughly familiar with the condition of the pistol.

This pistol with standard sights sells at $539 new.  The night sights are easily another $90 on top of that.  At this price with the Davidson’s guarantee, we think that the pistol is a tremendous bargain.
