Glock

A lot of folks will look at this pistol and assume that it's just the Glock 17 MOS with a different name.  That's not the case at all.  When Glock says that it "maintains parts compatibility with the G17 Gen 5 MOS, G19 Gen 5 MOS and G45 MOS" that's still just part of the story.  The modularity of this pistol means that you can put the Glock 19 slide on this frame and create a Glock 45.  You can also put this slide on your Glock 19 and create a long slide Glock 19 MOS.  Essentially, having the Glock 47 MOS and a Glock 19 gives you the ability to have four different pistols by moving slides between the two models!

The G47 MOS was developed for the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2019 and is now available to the commercial market. The G47 MOS offers the same reliability and performance as the G17 Gen5 MOS, with a shortened dust cover and maintains parts compatibility with the G17 Gen5 MOS, G19 Gen5 MOS, and G45 MOS.
