We like these Law Enforcement trade-ins for a variety of reasons. You’re generally getting a high quality firearm that’s been maintained by an LE Armorer, most are lightly used and they offer a fantastic bargain. This Glock 17, however, is a cut above the others that we’ve seen.
Condition is truly outstanding. The frame has no wear or marks that we can see. The grips show no wear. The slide is bright, clean and the only flaws that we could find were a very minor rub about 1.75” from the muzzle on the right hand side and a slight circular discoloration on the top, rear of the slide. Overall, we’d rate this pistol in just about like-new condition.
We believe that we have the original hard case for this gun. Based on information in the case, manufacture date appears to be 2014 but the gun looks much newer. Spring is strong, trigger is smooth, barrel is very bright and the rifling is strong. Does not appear to have had many rounds fired through it at all.
Night sights are bright and estimated at 75-80% of new brightness.
