This consignnment pistol is an early model Glock 17 "Blue Label" model that was sold for law enforcement use only. Note that our photo of the label appears as white due to the flash photography. The label really is blue.
Like all Glock 17 models, the barrel is 4.48 inches with hexagonal rifling and the magazine capacity is 17 rounds. Serial number on this pistol is CH939US and all three serial numbers match. According to Glock, this one was manufactured in 1997. Trijicon night sighs are installed but have no remaining glow due to age. They do, however, function as standard 3 dot sights.
The grips are in Excellent condition, the frame is Very Good and the slide is in Very Good condition as well. There is some holster wear apparent on the slide with the majority of this being on the top corners. Please see photos as the wear is not significan but it does need to be noted. The bore is clean and bright, the barrel is very bright and the rifling is crisp and strong. Trigger pull is a smooth, normal Glock pull with an approximate 5 pound pull.
Overall, this pistol is in Very Good + condition. It's a very neat piece of early Glock history, especially with the Glock Tupperware-type case and accessories. If you're a fan or collector of early model Glocks, this would be a very nice find. While we don't know if this was a duty pistol at some point or just the personal firearm of a LEO, it would seem that this one was carried but probably not fired a great deal. Whether for use, display or just to add to the collection we think that you'd be very happy with this pistol.
Purchase includes the pistol as shown, (1) 17 round Glock magazine, original Tupperware case, cleaning rod and cleaning brush.
This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report. As with all pre-owned firearm purchases, please review the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of the pistol.
