This Colt Commando Special revolver in .38 Special is a consignment item that we have not test fired but have function checked. Timing is good, single action trigger is very light and smooth. The double action trigger pull is as expected.
Colt manufactured this one in 1983. It has a 2" barrel, a parkerized finish, functions in both single action and double action and has a 6 shot cylinder. The wood grips, which are in excellent condition have the Colt logo inlaid in a gold medallion on each side.
The cylinder shows a turn line (normal for this model), has some finish loss at the muzzle, some wear on the underside of the trigger guard, a light scratch (not through the finish) on the right side behind the cylinder and has other areas of finish loss. Please see the pictures to fully examine the condition of the gun.
These are nice revolvers that were manufactured by Colt for a few years in the mid-1980s and this particular one still has a lot of life left in it.
