Beretta

These Beretta 84F pistols were a very nice scaled down version of the Beretta 92FS/M9 models but chambered in 9mm Short (380 ACP to the rest of us).  The Italian made 84F that we have came to us as a consignment sale and it’s a fantastic looking pistol.  Serial number is E56940Y and the “BD” date code on the barrel would indicate 1994 production.

The pistol is a double action / single action model featuring an ambi safety with a decocker built into the safety.  Like the larger 92FS models, it has the open top slide making cleaning very easy.  It’s also a very reliable design. 

The pistol has an aluminum frame, black polymer grips and white contrast sights.  Barrel length is 3.8 inches.  Finish is the Beretta Bruniton finish and it looks amazing.

This one has a very clean bore, bright barrel and good rifling.  The grips are in Excellent condition.  The finish is also Excellent with the exception of very slight finish loss at the muzzle and on top of the barrel.  The finish on the top of the barrel is to be expected as that’s common of this model.

Overall, this is a 40 year old pistol that looks like it was purchased a few months ago.  This one looks great and the model shoots great as well.  If you’re after a well made, reliable pistol in 380 ACP, this one will not disappoint.
