When you think of a pocket pistol, you really have to include the Beretta 21A in the mix.  Also known as the Bobcat, this 22LR pistol has been around for almost four decades now.  We aren’t able to accurately date the consignment 21A that we have for sale since the U.S. made pistols don’t have the date codes that their Italian cousins wear.  Our serial number is BES 93170U.

The 21A has a 2.4 inch barrel and, of course, this model has the tip-up barrel.  While the pistol operates in both single and double action modes, chambering the first round couldn’t be simpler.  Just push the lever on the left side of the frame, the barrel tips up, load a round in the barrel and just push it closed.  It’s that simple.

The grips are in Excellent condition with few signs of use.  The pistol has a good bore, bright barrel and good rifling.  The metal finish is in Excellent condition as well.  In general, this pistol doesn’t look like it’s seen a lot of use.

Overall, this is an Excellent condition Beretta 21A.  Not all pistols have to be practical.  Some can just be fun.  We think that this is one of them.

Purchase includes the pistol as shown, (1) Italian made Beretta magazine and a zippered, padded soft case.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol.  We have performed our function checks and have no issues to report.  As with all pre-owned firearm purchases, please review the photos carefully so that you are completely comfortable with the condition of the pistol.
