This reproduction 1873 Single Action Army revolver is a Hartford / San Marco that was made in Italy by ASM and then imported by EMF Company. We have it on a consignment sale and the owner reports that he purchased the revolver in the mid-90s. Serial number is SA20784. The serial numbers on the frame and the cylinder match.
It’s chambered for 45 Colt and has a 6 shot cylinder. The barrel is 4 inches. Grips are a smooth wood bird’s head type. The revolver is single action only with a loading gate and ejector rod. The frame is an antiqued / color case hardened finish. The barrel, cylinder, trigger guard and backstrap are blued.
There is a rear sight channel and a fixed, blade type front sight.
The metal finish is in Excellent / Fine condition. The grips are Excellent and the cylinder shows very little signs of use. Lockup is tight with very little play. The action is smooth and the trigger is very light and easy. The bore is good, the barrel is bright and the rifling is strong.
Also included is a San Pedro Saddlery Tombstone leather gunbelt/holster that is in Excellent condition.
This is a beautiful reproduction revolver that is in Excellent condition. If you’re a fan of single action revolvers, cowboy action shooting or just want to put a little Old West in your life, take a good look at this one. Beautiful and yet easy on the wallet.
