This beautiful Arsenal SLR 107CR comes to us as a consignment and it’s a beautiful, well cared for rifle.  It comes from an estate so we don’t have a lot of information about the original purchase.  We do know that with serial number AB500221, it would have been manufactured in 2010.  Based on our examination, if it has ever been fired, it would have seen very, very few rounds go through it.  In all likelihood, this is an unfired rifle but we can’t state that as a fact.

The Arsenal rifles, in general, have a reputation for being high quality firearms.  The SLR 107CR is a model that isn’t seen all that often and is a highly desirable rifle.

The Arsenal owner’s manual had this to say about the model at the time of production:

 Your SLR-107CR has been produced with the needs of rifle enthusiasts in mind. This rifle comes standard with a new left side folding buttstock. It achieves the rock-solid feel of a fixed buttstock by the use of an advanced locking mechanism. This unique buttstock includes a storage compartment designed to house the cleaning kit tube.

The lower handguard features an industry first stainless steel heat shield which greatly improves heat dissipation resulting in enhanced shooting comfort. The U.S. made fire control group includes a double stage trigger, which dramatically improves trigger let-off.

Built on the legendary AK platform, the SLR-107CR boasts a stamped receiver and a reliable gas piston system, ensuring robust durability and reliable cycling under diverse conditions. This rifle is in Near Mint condition and we encourage you to view all of the photos to confirm what we see.  The bore is very clean, the barrel is bright, the finish in Excellent – Near Mint condition.  In fact, the only flaw that we can find is that the cleaning rod is not attached.  Beyond that, you’re getting a rifle that probably looks just about like it did when it came off the assembly line 15 years ago.  This one is a great, and rarely seen find.  If you’re a fan of Arsenal rifles, take a good long look at this one.  You won’t regret it.
