Armscor/RIA

This is a consignment sale but it's a pistol that we know well.  We sold this to one of our regular customer in December, 2023.  Recently, he picked up a different 1911 and decided that he didn't need to keep this one.  However, while he had it, he swapped out the grips and added a beautiful set of G10 1911 grips.

These Armscor / Rock Island 1911s aren't the flashiest 1911 pistols on the market but they are solidly built and shoot very well.  These new grips completely change the look of the pistol.  Besides being very attractive grips, they almost change the tint of the parkerized finsih where it looks more like a Legion gray.  They feel great and they give the look of the whole pistol an upgrade as well.  If you're more of a traditionalist, the original wood grips are included also. 

The pistol has been well cared for in the few months that it's been out of the shop.  The grips (as we mentioned) are just Like New.  The metal finish is Near Mint with the exception of some light finish loss at the end of the op rod.  That was likely caused during removal of the bushing for cleaning and we mention it only to be complete in our description.  The bore is shiny and bright.  The barrel is bright and the rifling is strong.

Overall, the pistol is Near Mint.  The owner has it priced to sell and, in our opinion, it's a great bargain on a pistol that's been very lightly used and comes with two sets of grips.  If an affordable 1911 is what you've been looking for, take a good look at this one.  We don't think that you'll be disappointed.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this pistol.  We have performed all function checks and find no issues.  As with all pre-owned firearm purchases, please review the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of the pistol.
