North American Arms

This consignment sale is a neat little pocket pistol that we don't see a lot of.  North American Arms, in partnership with Kahr Arms, began producing the 380 Guardian in 2001.  We believe that ours was manufactured in 2008.  Serial number on this pistol is BD00756.  This is a very nice design and feels much more sturdy than some of the competing small frame pistols in the same 380 ACP caliber.

The barrel is 2.49 inches and the magazines hold 6 rounds plus one in the chamber.  Firing is double action only from a spurless hammer.  The rear sight is a fixed "U" shape and the front sight is a fixed post.  The slide and frame are stainless.  The factory version of the grips are a black, dimpled polymer but the owner has added smooth wood grips.  They give the pistol a very rich look and are a nice addition.

The barrel on this pistol is bright and the rifling is strong.  The bore is clean and shiny.  The frame is Near Mint condition and the slide is Excellent.  The wood grips mentioned earlier are Like New.  Trigger pull is a normal double action pull.

Overall, we'd grade this pistol as Near Mint.  We encourage you to take a good look at the pictures and we think that you'll agree.  If you're looking for a pocket-type pistol that's well built, easy to carry, won't beat you up when you shoot it and is reasonably priced, we'd definitely suggest that you give this Guardian a very good look.

Purchase includes the pistol, (1) 6 round North American Arms stainless magazine with finger extension, (1) 6 round North American Arms stainless magazine with flush base plate, original hard case, NAA padlock for case, manual, wood grips as shown and original dimpled black grips.

This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consigments, we have not test fired this pistol.  We have performed all function checks and find no issues to report.  As with all pre-owned firearm purchases, please review the photos carefully so that you are fully comfortable with the condition of the pistol.
